Football Betting Tips: The Set Odds’ 4-4-2 Betting System [Week 21]

Hello all and merry Christmas!

I can pretty much smell those pigs in blankets and that turkey cooking so it must mean both Christmas Day and the festive football fixtures are nearly upon us.

I’m going into this festive period with a bit of form after 13/2, 11/2, 9/2, 7/2, 9/4 and 2/1 winners recently, with the last four blogs all providing profit.

It’s set to be yet another busy period of games kicking off with Friday night’s Christmas cracker of Arsenal v Liverpool, in which I like the look of 11/1, 11/2 and 13/5 selections in the Big Match Preview.

The obvious winner of the weekend should be Man City at home to Bournemouth but their odds are starting to become like Barcelona and Real Madrid’s in La Liga when they face off against the lower sides.

I was considering a -1 on the handicap with City but they haven’t always won that convincingly at home against teams in the second half of the table, so I’m leaving them alone.

The Win 5fold requires victories for West Ham, Derby and Wolves at home to Newcastle, Millwall and Ipswich, while I’m hopeful Colchester and Luton can see of Port Vale and Grimsby at home in League Two.

Elsewhere, I’ve slightly upped the stakes of the BTTS Acca, which has been fairly successful in recent weeks, and it is 9/1 this week so that would be a lovely return.

The Lucas Joao all features winnable away teams and is a huge 252/1 which really would be an early Christmas present to remember.

Also, I pointed out in this week’s Post-Weekend Review that the Lucas Joao narrowly missed out once again last weekend after a couple of the sides I plumped for failed to concede, but all four won.

Had I staked straight wins on my Lucas Joao picks this season then that 4fold could’ve been very profitable, so I’m doing just that this week with a 0.5pts on my four selections to be victorious at a decent 15/1 (BoyleSports – bet HERE).

I also particularly like the look of the Win 5fold and Mixed Multiple’s odds so much this week that I’m going to combine them in a 9fold and limp in with a 0.25pts stake at a huge 61/1 (Coral – bet HERE).

That would buy a few mulled wines if it lands!

Merry Christmas, all, and happy punting!
