The Set Odds’ 4-4-2 Betting System: Post-Weekend Review [Week 20]

Hello all,

It was a case of another day, another dollar won for us over the weekend as I extended the run of profitable blog posts to four on the spin.

The Win 5fold, which I mentioned being confident about at the prices, came in at 9/2 thanks to Arsenal, Chelsea, Blackburn, Portsmouth and Exeter winning, and my 2/1 single on Millwall to beat Middlesbrough also landed on Saturday.

With those two coming home and the 9/4 BTTS Double winning in the midweek blog post, we managed to make a profit over the week of 7pts – lovely jubbly!

This comes after 13/2, 11/2, and 7/2 winners in recent weeks, too, meaning we should be in for a good Christmas.

Sadly, it wasn’t to be once again for the Lucas Joao but we weren’t far away from a 105/1 winner.

Both Man City and PSG won with both teams scoring, and Wigan and Luton were also victorious but failed to concede. If I’d just done that bet as a straight Win 4fold over the season it would’ve landed a fair few times!

There’s more midweek action this week courtesy of the League Cup quarter-finals but it’s a tough competition to get right so I’m not going to do a separate blog post on it.

There is so much football coming up over the festive period, I don’t fancy betting for the sake of it on the League Cup.

Look out on The Set Odds Twitter account for any bets I might put up before some of the games though – having said that I’ve got about 101 festive shindigs to attend this week so I’m not sure how much time there will be for midweek betting.

The 4-4-2 Betting System blog will be back on Thursday, and an Arsenal v Liverpool Big Match Preview will also be on the way.

Enjoy your Christmas parties!
