Despite an improved performance against City, the pressure on Fancesco Guidolin continues to grow as four points represents Swansea lowest ever tally after six games of a Premier League season. They’re desperately missing Ashley Williams having shipped seven goals in their first three home matches and things certainly don’t get any easier as they welcome a Liverpool side that seem to be scoring for fun.
Liverpool’s constant interchanging of positions between their four attacking players is making them almost impossible to contain. Although they’re flying and are on a three match winning streak, they still look very short to us at 1.45 if you take into account how inconsistent they’ve been away from home under Klopp, failing to win 10 of their 19 road games.
Goals though, do seem to be a regular occurrence when they travel with seven of their last 10 seeing at least three goals. Seven of Swansea’s last nine at home to top-six sides have also seen three strikes with four seeing four or more. For all their attacking prowess the Reds have yet to keep a clean sheet this term and as a result no other clubs’ matches as seen more goals.
