Stoke vs Burnley

3pm -03.12.16

Stoke picked up a valuable three points at an in-form Watford on the weekend, just their fourth win this season but by far the most satisfying for manager Mark Hughes. They were organised and disciplined, with Martins Indi particularly impressive in the absence of Ryan Shawcross at the back, and it was their first victory against a side outside the relegation zone.

Two of these successes have come at the Britannia, and while Swansea and Sunderland have both struggled away from home this season, Burnley have been worse.

The Clarets’ only point in five road fixtures came when Tom Heaton had a blinder at Old Trafford in between the sticks, though he’s now injured.

They’ve failed to score in four of these, with their only goal courtesy of a fortunate penalty at Southampton.

Sean Dyche’s side gave another good account of themselves at home, losing narrowly to Man City on Saturday, but can’t seem to replicate their performances away from Turf Moor.

The Potters have now conceded just three in their last six top-flight games so a home win to nil looks the best option.

Best Bet: Stoke Win to Nil at 2.6
