Manchester United vs Burnley

3pm – 29.10.16

Man United’s humiliation at Chelsea will be a bitter pill to swallow for Mourinho but the pain would have been somewhat eased by defeating their neighbours in the EFL Cup. However, it’s just one win in their last six in the league and Red Devils fans will be hoping that the Chelsea result will test the manager’s stubborn loyalty to underperforming players. It’s never been more evident that Fellaini is unable to perform the role that Matic does so well for Chelsea. Surely at home to Burnley represents a fantastic opportunity for Mourinho to play Carrick or get Mkhitaryan in.

Burnley proved what an effective side they are at home when toppling Everton, whose goal-scorer Yannick Bolasie cost more than the whole of Sean Dyche’s team put together. However, away from Turf Moor they continue to struggle. It’s now three defeats in a row, shipping nine goals in the process.

Since Sir Alex retired United have won eight of their nine home matches against promoted sides and even amidst a poor run in the league this should be nine from 10. Despite plenty of talent within the squad, goals have been hard to come by as they’ve netted more than once in just one of their last seven league games. Even with Burnley’s poor away form, we think Man United to win and under 2.5 goals is a generous price at 2/1.

Best Bet: Man United to Win & Under 2.5 Goals at 3.0
