Liverpool endured a frustrating goalless draw on Monday night against United. They did however manage to keep their first clean sheet of the season, despite new keeper Loris Karius looking particularly nervy all night. It’s just the sixth time in their 18 matches at Anfield under Jurgan Klopp that a visiting side has drawn a blank.
Tony Pulis would have noted how Mourinho’s men went about their business and his team certainly have the ability to frustrate their hosts.
