I’ve had three winners in my last three posts, returning some decent profit, and I’m hoping for that run to continue this week.
The busy festive period is well under way with three Premier League fixtures on Tuesday and another seven to look forward to on Wednesday.
It was tough to find much value in these games with the bookies looking to have it fairly spot on.
The BTTS Acca has won on its last two weekend outings at 13/2 and 11/2 so I wanted another here but could only find two matches I’m confident enough about, so it’s only a double. No point putting up additional bets just for the sake of it.
Wednesday’s Premier League matches have some short one-sided prices with the likes of Man United and Spurs in action at home and Man City away at Swansea.
The one I’m slightly worried about is Liverpool facing off against West Brom at Anfield, but Jurgen Klopp seemed pretty angry after the Merseyside derby so I’m hoping he will have his troops fired up.
For whatever reason, he rested Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho for that one and it ultimately cost them as they fluffed their chances against Everton before Dejan Lovren gave away a soft penalty.
Hopefully, Klopp has learnt his lesson and his team can get back to the free-scoring nature they’ve been used to for a lot of the season.
If Burnley win or draw at home to Stoke on Tuesday then it’ll be down to that aforementioned quartet to land the Win 5fold.
And on Tuesday I need Palace – hopefully Christian Benteke will not be on pens – and Watford to score in their acca to roll over to Wednesday’s Southampton v Leicester fixture.
