This Saturday we have a mouth-watering Premier League tie to look forward to in the 5.30pm kick-off as Chelsea entertain Man City in a third versus first clash.

Team News

City have been dealt a double blow this week after news on Friday morning that Sergio Aguero was involved in a car crash on his day off in Holland on Thursday.

There are reports he may have suffered a rib injury and the club confirmed they are going to assess him.

Earlier in the week, City revealed Benjamin Mendy has ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee so he’s likely to be out for a while.

For Chelsea, David Luiz is suspended so Gary Cahill should return and their free-scoring striker Alvaro Morata was seen limping after they game against Atleti in midweek, but it’s not known if he’s out.

In better news, Eden Hazard played 82 minutes in the Champions League tie so is likely to start on Saturday. There are some doubts over Pedro.

Key Betting Points

City have been, quite frankly, sublime this season, hitting 21 goals in their six Premier League matches and conceding just two in return, putting them top, ahead of neighbours Man United on goal difference.

I thought Chelsea were the value bet for the title at the start of the season and many people bashed them, but since their shock home defeat to Burnley on the opening day they’ve gone five unbeaten and look good.

With Mendy and possibly Aguero out, and Hazard back for Chelsea, City could be slightly rattled so I fancy Alvaro Morata to score first.

But with both City and Chelsea’s backlines not at full-strength there should be goals as both sides have plenty of match winners, so I fancy a score draw, and, for the odds, am going to back Chelsea to be leading at half-time and it to be a draw at full-time.

Good luck!
