Bournemouth vs Tottenham

12.30pm – 22.10.16

B’mouth 3.80 3.60 1.95 Spurs

16th was a fantastic achievement by Bournemouth last season and there was a case to be made for them suffering second season syndrome (think Reading 07/08 and Ipswich 01/02) after a slow start but Eddie Howe’s men have turned their form around, picking up 10 points from their last five games, including three consecutive wins at home.

It will be tough for the Cherries to make it four in a row as Spurs rarely lose on the road. Hugo Lloris’ heroics mid-week ensured they finished all-square in Leverkusen, while Dele Alli’s 89th minute goal meant they left the Hawthorns with a point on the weekend. They’ve now lost just two of their last 22 away games in the league (11 wins, nine draws).

Bournemouth’s record against top-six sides at Dean Court reads W2-D1-L4 and these seven games have averaged 3.3 goals per game. Toby Alderweireld’s injury last week means it will be the first time Pochettino’s side have lined-up in the Premier League without him since his arrival and although they didn’t concede on Tuesday night, on another day it could have been two or three.

Goals look to be on the cards and considering half of Bournemouth’s games this season have had at least four strikes, as well as four of Spurs’ last seven away games, we’ll back over 3.5 goals.

Best Bet: Over 3.5 Goals at 3.00
