The Set Odds’ 4-4-2 Betting System: Post-Weekend Review [FA Cup 4th Round]

Hi all,

It wasn’t to be in the FA Cup 4th Round in a weekend of a fair few surprises.

I only put up 2.75pts worth of tips for the Cup because it’s not great as a betting heat, but if you’d put 1pt on my Eden Hazard FGS tip, which landed at 11/2 in the Arsenal v Chelsea League Cup semi-final on Wednesday, then you would’ve still made profit for the week.

We went really close in the 14/1 BTTS 4fold with just Watford and Portsmouth not scoring, meaning we missed out on a 15pts return, which would’ve given us a lovely piece of profit for the weekend.

The Win 5fold was let down by a Brentford side who had started to look good, but they lost at home to Norwich, and the Lucas Joao just didn’t go well.

Still, as January is drawing to a close there are plenty of Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two games taking place in midweek so I’ll be bringing you a bonus 4-4-2 blog.

What’s more, I’ve still managed to land 16/1, 15/2, 11/2, 4/1, and 7/4 winners this month so it hasn’t all been bad – just a shame some of them, like Hazard’s midweek 11/2 win, don’t count towards the overall P/L total.

One tip I want to put up now before the 4-4-2 midweek piece is a guy I tipped to be the League Two top scorer in pre-season, Luton‘s James Collins.

He’s been back in the goals of late after an injury and I fancy him to net first for the Hatters against Wycombe on Tuesday night at 19/5 with Bet Victor (bet HERE). I’m staking 1pt.

The Set Odds’ Betting System total profit/loss 2017/18 = -91.65pts
