Football Betting Tips: The Set Odds' 4-4-2 Betting System [Internationals Week 3]

Hello all,

The internationals are back once again this week and while we have some exciting play-offs to look forward to, this also means there are more friendlies.

I don’t like betting on international friendlies so it’s just the unpredictability of the play-offs and Leagues One and Two to get involved with this week.

As a result, stakes and markets are being kept to a minimum – I’m wagering just 3.5pts, with the Lucas Joao and Draw Double stakes reduced.

I cannot find enough decent potential winners for the Win 5fold so it’s all about the Mixed Multiple this weekend, and sadly for the Irish, I cannot see them triumphing in Denmark.

Christian Eriksen is on fire for the hosts and they should have too much for the Green Army. However, Martin O’Neill’s side are capable of turning it on when the going gets tough so I’ve erred on the side of caution slightly.

In League One, I fancy Blackpool to avoid defeat at home to Portsmouth.

Gary Bowyer’s Tangerines have only lost once at home in the League this season – to title favourites Wigan – so should have enough against inconsistent Pompey.

And to complete this week’s short Mixed Multiple, I fancy Scunthorpe to win or at least avoid defeat at home to Bristol Rovers, who have won just two of their eight League games away from home.

Elsewhere, I’m hoping for some goals in the European World Cup qualifying matches because I’ve opted for a very nicely-priced BTTS treble which requires Northern Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy, Denmark and Ireland all to net.

I think Italy can hold an impressive Sweden to a draw away from home, and Yeovil likewise at Carlisle, who have drawn a blank in their last three games.
