Football Betting Tips: The Set Odds’ 4-4-2 Betting System [Champions League Matchday 6]

Hi all,

As promised, I’m back with yet another midweek blog, this time for Matchday 6 of the Champions League group phase, and I’m even having a poke at some EFL Trophy action.

It’s been really tough to find any value at all for the Champions League as the prices seem to reflect things, even with loads of dead rubbers around, so I’m staking just the 2.5pts this midweek.

Still, I fancy Man United and Liverpool to have too much for the two Russian sides, CSKA and Spartak Moscow respectively, at home.

And I think there could be a few goals in the games involving Bayern and PSG, and Chelsea and Atletico.

If three of those selections come in on Tuesday night it will be all eyes on Liverpool to land the 7/2 tip on Wednesday night.

I would usually steer well clear of the EFL Trophy because teams basically field mascots and newborns in their starting XIs.

But one thing it is good for is goals – and after last weekend’s BTTS 4fold landed at 11/2 I’m all about the goals at the moment.

I fancy BTTS in four EFL Trophy games on Tuesday night involving seven League teams who have done the business previously in the competition and Swansea U21s at home against Charlton. All eight teams to net is a decent price of 15/2.

I usually like a little FGS double on the Champions League but you’ll have to check out The Set Odds Twitter account for that this time because it’s too hard to predict the line-ups at this stage of the competition.

Good luck!
