The Set Odds’ 4-4-2 Betting System: Post-Weekend Review [Week 39]

Hello all,

It was a blue day on Sunday but unlike Southampton fans we were celebrating with Antonio Conte and co as Chelsea landed us 9/2 and 10/3 winners.

And I won another ante-post bet after picking out Sunderland for the Championship drop at 14/1 in pre-season. Their fate was confirmed this weekend.

Let’s start with Chelsea. I picked out Olivier Giroud to net first at 9/2, and he duly obliged with a beauty of an individual goal, and fortunately it came just after half-time.

Because I was also on Draw at HT, Chelsea at FT at 10/3, which came in thanks to Giroud’s opener and Alvaro Morata sealed the deal with eight minutes to go to make it 2-0.

I also managed a 6/4 winner from the Man United v Spurs game as Jose Mourinho’s men came back from a goal down to win 2-1 and clinch our United Draw No Bet selection.

Aside from the two Big Match Previews, it was yet another case of what might have been for the accas as the 13/2 Mixed Multiple 4fold went down by just one goal.

Promotion-chasing Shrewsbury failed to win at home against already-relegated Bury, drawing 1-1, meaning the Shrews let us down for the second time in a week.

Elsewhere, the BTTS 4fold missed out by three goals and just one of the Lucas Joao results came in, but the other three were score draws, meaning we missed out on a 248/1 winner by just three goals.

There’s Champions League, Europa League and EFL action this week so look out for a bonus column.

But first, Everton take on Newcastle in a we’re-on-the-beach clash at Goodison Park on Monday night and I fancy a FGS dabble on Cenk Tosun at 11/2. I’m sticking 1pt on with Bet365 (bet HERE).
