Hello all,
The pointless near-the-end-of-the-season international friendlies are back so after an exciting Cheltenham Festival and Champions League week last week, we have some dull Gareth Southgate tactics to look forward to this.
Never mind, as usual I will be largely ignoring any friendly betting – check out The Set Odds Twitter just in case I do go for something though – but we do have full Saturday fixture lists in Leagues One and Two.
I’ve gone for something slightly different this week by selecting the same five teams in both the Win 5fold and Mixed Multiple.
I really like the look of Fleetwood, Peterborough, Plymouth, Shrewsbury and Coventry this weekend and there are some big 30/1 odds around on them all winning with just Plymouth insured on the Draw No Bet market.
I’ve taken that in the Win 5fold but in the Mixed Multiple I have insured everyone DNB apart from Shrewsbury at total odds of 11/1. It seems well worth taking the chance on it at the prices.
The Draw Double returns once again after landing at 11/1 last weekend, and the BTTS Acca is an all-League Two affair this Saturday.
The Lucas Joao is priced at a modest 282/1 this weekend, but it would pay for a nice summer holiday or two if it lands.
We need one after the Beast from the East parts I and II hit recently!
One market which has been treating me fairly well of late is first goalscorers, and the lower leagues can be a great place to find some value.
I like the look of Jack Marriott to net the opener for Peterborough against Bristol Rovers at 4/1 with Betfair (bet HERE) on Saturday, and Coventry’s Marc McNulty to strike first at 9/2 with Betfair (bet HERE) against Grimsby.
I’ll also be staking 0.25pts each-way on the e/w double at a big 27/1 with Betfair (bet HERE).
The Set Odds’ 4-4-2 Betting System
0.5pts at 30/1 (Betfair – bet HERE)
1pt at 11/1 (Bet Victor – bet HERE)
1pt at 10/1 (William Hill – bet HERE)
0.5pts at 21/2 (Bet365 – bet HERE)
0.5pts at 282/1 (Bet Victor – bet HERE)
Good luck and follow The Set Odds for more tips!
