Hello all,
There will be plenty of interest in who is winning the likes of the Champion Hurdle and Champion Chase at Cheltenham this week – but I’m not taking my eye off football and the Champions League.
Man United entertain Sevilla on Tuesday needing a win after a 0-0 in Spain in the first leg, and Roma also need to win when they play host to Shakhtar after going down 2-1 in Ukraine.
I fancy both home sides to get the job done with victories and can see the Italians winning convincingly, but also conceding.
Villa taught Wolves a football lesson on Saturday evening with a 4-1 demolition and will be looking to continue their promotion push with a victory over QPR at home, while Wolves should bounce back against Reading.
That 4fold is my main bet of the midweek games and pays 6/1.
I also like Roma for the Lucas Joao and am hoping Rotherham can bounce back away at MK Dons after they let me down for two markets on Saturday.
Fellow League One side Peterborough can win and concede at Bury, and I fancy League Two pre-season tips Luton – who have sadly slipped to second in the division after months at the summit – to do the same at Coventry.
I’ve had a fair bit of joy in the FGS market over the last few weeks and have picked out a couple of players to bring home the bunce once again this week.
Lewis Grabban has been superb for Villa since he signed on loan from Bournemouth, netting four in his last four, and he’s a big 5/1 FGS with Betfair (bet HERE) against QPR.
I also fancy a play on Billy Sharp to net the opener for Sheffield United against Burton at 4/1 with Betfair (bet HERE).
I’m sticking 1pt on each to win, and 0.25pts each-way on a 29/1 e/w double with Betfair.
Good luck with your football bets and good luck if you’re having a punt on Cheltenham, too!
