Hull remain out the relegation zone thanks to back-to-back wins at the start of the campaign but they’ve registered just a single point from six games since then. They were humiliated 6-1 at Bournemouth last time out as their defensive woes continue, conceding 17 in last four.
After consecutive draws, Stoke recorded their first win of the season and their first clean sheet in 17 matches in a 2-0 over Sunderland. It was a much needed result and Mark Hughes will hope the shackles will loosen on his side as they seek to move up the table. Their record reads W3-D6-L1 when visiting promoted sides since Sparky took over and they certainly have an opportunity to improve on that here.
These two may only be separated by a point but the hosts are in decline while the Potters seem to be on an upward curve. Wilfred Bony’s form is a slight worry but the away side have enough quality elsewhere in their squad and should have enough to see them over the line at a tempting 2.50.
