Atletico continue to go from strength to strength under Diego Simeone as they’ve conceded just two goals so far this season and top the division at this early stage having won four of seven unbeaten games. Granada are propping up the other end of the table with just two points and have the worst defence in the division as they’ve conceded 16 goals already.
Atletico have an impressive W17-D4-L1 home record since the start of last season and they’ve won all 13 of their home games against bottom-six sides since the start of 2014/15, with clean sheets in the last 11 of these games, while they led at the break in 10 of these 13 victories.
Granada have lost 13 of their 22 road games since the start of last season and have lost and failed to score in 11 of their 12 visits to top-four teams since 2013/14, with the exception being a 9-1 trouncing in the Bernabeu.
