Burnley won their second home game of the season on Monday night in an impressive 2-0 win against Watford. They’ve now played four at home, conceding just twice as they’ve yet to been breached in the first-half, illustrating what a tough side they are to break-down at Turf Moor. Since their last spell in the top-flight in 2014/15 they’ve conceded just 37 goals in 56.
Arsenal though, arrive in good form having won four on the bounce in all competitions while conceding just once themselves. Theo Walcott has certainly justified Wenger’s faith in him by netting four times in his last three and he can be found at 2.1 to find the net anytime again here.
A common tactic amongst promoted sides when the Gunners come to town is to sit back and soak up the pressure and play for a point so it comes as no surprise to see that 10 of Arsenal last 16 trips to the league’s new boys have been level at the break. Given the Clarets defensive abilities we imagine Sean Dyche will set up in a similar vein, but we expect Arsenal’s class to tell in the end. Wenger’s side actually won 11 of the 16 games so we’ll back them to pick up all three points again in the second-half.
