AC Milan v Torino
In the hope of breaking back into the top-six, Milan have appointed their seventh manager since 2014, with Vincenzo Montella joining from Sampdoria and tasked with bringing the glory days back to the San Siro. Torino have a new manager themselves and it’s former Milan boss Mihajolvic, who was sacked by the club in April and will keen to get one over on his former employers here.
Milan had a W9-D6-L4 home record last term, with three of those defeats against the top three, while they’re W10-D4-L3 when hosting sides between 9th and 14th since 2013/14. They were level at the break in 11 of these games and 11 had fewer than three goals, while seven had fewer than two as they managed nine clean sheets.
Torino lost 10 times on the road last term while their record when travelling to sides between 5th and 9th is W1-D3-L9 in the last three seasons as they managed just nine goals in these games and trailed at the break in nine. As a result, we’re backing I Rossoneri to win this one without conceding, though we expect Torino to be competitive and so are going for the 1-0 or 2-0.
