Watford v Arsenal
Arsene Wenger’s side could be forgiven for picking up just a single point from their opening two games but anything less than four going in to the International break and Arsenal’s start will be viewed as a catastrophe. To reach that goal they’ll have to overcome Watford who face a third tough game in a row. The Hornets led against both Southampton and Chelsea (until the 80th minute!) but also have just a point to show from 180 minutes of Premier League football.
Last season Watford had a mixed home record as they won just six matches. Worryingly, they picked up only one point from their games hosting the top-six finishers including a 3-0 thrashing at the hands of the Gunners.
Against all opponents last year, Arsenal won eight of 19 matches but it was the bigger games they, again, struggled in as they dominated the bottom-half finishers: W7-D2-L1. Six of their seven wins were to nil and the 2.80 for a repeat here is a standout selection.
Recommendation: Arsenal win to nil 2.90
