Torino v Juventus
15:00
Juventus have an excellent record in the Turin derby having
won nine of the last 10 editions of the encounter but they face a Torino side
who are in solid form as they’ve won six of their last 10, though they were
beaten 2-0 in their last game at Sampdoria. Juve have won 12 of their 15 games
and have a four point lead at the top of the table, though they have lost three
times on the road already including at Genoa in their last away game.
Torino are in excellent form at home, where they’ve won five
of seven unbeaten games, including against Roma and Fiorentina. Indeed, they
have a decent record against the top teams as they’ve managed to avoid defeat
in seven of their 13 home games against top-four sides since 2013/14. They tend
to keep things tight against the big boys as nine of these games saw fewer than
three goals, while only two of their defeats were by more than one goal.
While Juve remain imperious at home, they certainly look
susceptible on the road as their only wins in their last six away have come
against bottom-seven teams and they’ve been beaten by the Milan sides and
Genoa. With that in mind, Allegri’s men look too short at 1.83 and so we’re
going to back the draw and also Under 2.5 Goals in what should be a cagey
affair as four of the last six derbies at Torino have seen fewer than three
goals, while half had fewer than two.
