Swansea v Leicester
16:00 - 12/2/2016 - Liberty Stadium, Swansea
Swansea’s last-minute defeat to City will have stung Paul Clement’s men, but they still have three wins in their last five and this weekend they host a Leicester side that has been very poor on the road. Andy King suggested that the Foxes’ extra-time win over Derby in their FA Cup replay midweek could prove the spark they need to turn their season around, but they will have to work hard to come away from the Liberty Stadium with anything to show for their efforts.
If form and this season’s performances are anything to go by, Leicester have little chance of coming away from this match with any points. They have not won in regulation time in any of their last six games across all competitions, and they’ve not won an away game at any stage this season in the league, failing to score in each of their last three away against bottom-half sides, so it’ll be a big challenge for them to even get on the scoresheet in this one. This is especially true given that Swansea have now won four straight at home against bottom-six sides, with three of those wins being wins to nil.
With reports emerging that Claudio Ranieri has lost the trust of the Leicester dressing-room, we think that Swansea should put them to the sword at home. Back the Home Win.
