Stoke v Manchester Utd

15:00 - 21/1/17 - Britannia Stadium, Stoke-on-Trent

It was Ibrahimovic to the rescue again for Man U on Sunday as they came from behind to claim a 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Old Trafford. Their unbeaten streak in the league now stands at 12, and they now travel to Stoke, where Man Utd have not won in the league since early 2013 – perhaps the Potters can put a further dent in the Red Devils’ title hopes.

Stoke have not fared well against top-six sides in the recent past. While four of their five matches against top-six sides this season have been away, meaning that their home performance against such teams is still something of an unknown quantity, they’ve lost all of these, although they did pick up a handy draw at Old Trafford in October when Man U were outside the top six. However, they managed some impressive results at home to the top teams last term, beating both Manchester clubs and drawing with Arsenal and Leicester.

While Utd have won their last three on the road, they’re just W6-D2-L5 when travelling to teams between 7th and 14th since the start of last season and so they’re probably a touch short at 1.62, particularly against an in-form Stoke side. The Potters have lost only once at home since early September. This combined with their creditable recent record against Man U at home means that we think 4.0 is a good price for Stoke Draw No Bet.
