Schalke v Bayer Leverkusen
15:00
After their disastrous start to the season that saw them
lose their first five games, Schalke went unbeaten in their next seven, though they
were beaten at league leaders Leipzig last time out and so are down in 8th.
Leverkusen have also had a poor start as they’re only 9th having
lost four of their last seven and they had to come from behind to rescue a
point at home to Freiburg in their last game.
Schalke have in fact won their last four at home, scoring 13
goals in the process but none of the teams they’ve played in that time are in
the top half. They have in fact lost
half of their last eight home matches against teams between 3rd and
9th, including a 3-2 defeat against Leverkusen themselves towards the
end of last season.
Leverkusen have won two of their last four on the road and
were only narrowly beaten 2-1 in their last road game at the Allianz Arena.
They’ve managed to score in their last 18 away matches but have kept just three
clean sheets in that time. With Schalke in good scoring form at home, we’re
going to back Over 2.5 Goals, with Over 3.5 also worth backing at 2.9, whilst we’re also going to side
with Leverkusen Draw No Bet.
Recommendations: Over 2.5 Goals at 1.8 Bayer Leverkusen Draw No Bet at 2.25
