Sassuolo v Juventus

After a run of just one win in 11 games, Sassuolo have managed back-to-back victories, though those were against the current bottom-two and they face a very different challenge here as Juventus come to town. The champions bounced back from defeat at Fiorentina with a 2-0 home win over Lazio to maintain their position at the top of the table.
Sassuolo have lost just three of their 10 home games so far (counting a 2-1 victory over Pescara that was awarded 0-3 to the visitors as a win), but each of those defeats have come in their only games against top-six opposition. That’s in contrast to last season when they managed to beat Juve, Napoli, both Milan sides and Lazio at home and goes a long way to explaining why they’re down in 14th this term, having finished 6th last season.
However, Juve’s away form may well give them some reason for optimism as the champions have already lost four times on the road, including at 15th place Genoa not long ago. With that in mind, we’re reluctant to back them at 1.5 and instead since they’re yet to lead at the break away this term, whilst Sassuolo have trailed at the break in only two of their last 12 at home, we’re backing the half time draw.
