Roma and Lazio enter the final Rome derby of the season in impressive form as both have lost only one of their last 11, with Roma set to win the ‘without Juve’ battle ahead of Napoli, whilst Lazio currently sit in 4th, which unfortunately for them is only a Europa League spot in Italy. Nonetheless, Lazio secured bragging rights by knocking Roma out of the Coppa Italia earlier this month and will be keen to halt their record of four straight defeats in league derbies.
Roma are the second highest scorers in Serie A this term and netted more than twice for the sixth time in nine games with their 4-1 victory over Pescara. Indeed, they’ve scored at least twice in the last five league Rome derbies and will fancy their chances of doing so again against a Lazio side that’s looked vulnerable at the back in recent weeks.
Simone Inzaghi’s side have shipped eight in their last four, though they’re in good scoring form themselves having put six past Palermo last time out. They have however struggled against the top teams this term as in addition to their defeat in the first derby, they’ve lost at home to both Napoli and Juve this term. However, since Roma’s only clean sheets in their last nine have come against bottom-six sides, we think they can at least get on the scoresheet here. We’re backing Roma to win and both teams to score, which has happened in three of the last six Rome derbies in all competitions.
Roma Win and Both Teams to Score at 3.0
