Real Sociedad v Osasuna
15:00
Sociedad were beaten 3-0 at the Bernabeu last time out but remain in 5th and face a much simpler task here as they host Osasuna, who are struggling down in 19th. They have however managed to draw three of their last four to move off the foot of the table, but they’re eight points from safety and would need to improve dramatically if they’re to avoid relegation.
Sociedad have won six of their 10 home games, with their only defeats coming against Sevilla and Real Madrid. They’ve beaten all four of the bottom-half teams they’ve hosted so far, scoring 11 goals in the process and since none of those are currently in the bottom-five, we expect this to be a fairly routine home win for Eusebio Sacristan’s men.
Ossasuna have picked up just one point from their last four on the road, despite each of those being against bottom-five sides, whilst they’ve been beaten 3-1 at Villarreal and 5-2 at Real Madrid in their only trips to top-six teams so far. Indeed, since all five of their away defeats this term have been by more than one goal, Sociedad look a good bet at 1.85 to cover the -1 handicap.
