Real Madrid continue to impress under Zidane as they lead La Liga by a point with two games in hand and they take up their quest to become the first league in Champions League history to retain the title. Napoli stand in their way here and Maurizio Sarri’s side are in impressive form as they’re unbeaten in 13 in Serie A and managed to top Group B, though it was one of the weaker groups with Benfica, Besiktas and Dynamo Kiev making up the quartet.
Real have won 18 of their 21 Champions League home games since 2013/14, during which time they’ve lost just once as they remain imperious in front of their own fans. However, whilst they didn’t concede a goal at the Bernabeu in this competition last season, they’re without a clean sheet there this term and in the league they’ve kept only three clean sheets in their 11 home games.
Napoli are in excellent scoring form as they put seven past Bologna in their penultimate league game, whilst they’ve scored in their last 17 in Serie A. Indeed, they’ve netted in all but one of their 10 Champions League away games since 2011/12, though they lost five of these, including 3-1 defeats at Dortmund and Chelsea and a 3-2 defeat at Bayern. We expect something similar here, with the 3-1 correct score worth a punt at 10.5, but we’re going to make Real to win and both teams to score our standout selection.
