PSG appear to have responded well to their heartbreak at the Nou Camp as they’ve won their two league games since, the latest against Lyon, whilst they also beat Monaco in the final of the Coupe de la Ligue with a 4-1 victory. Guingamp are also in decent form as two wins in their last three has seen them move up to 8th, though both those victories came over sides currently in the bottom-three and this will of course be a much tougher test.
PSG have been held to draws in three of their last seven at home, but two of those have come against Monaco and Nice, whilst they remain unbeaten at the Parc des Princes. Indeed, if we exclude the top-seven, they’ve won eight of nine unbeaten home games this term, conceding just one goal across these. However, they haven’t been as prolific as they were last season as they’ve scored more than twice in only one of their last nine at home.
Guingamp are winless in 10 on the road and have lost five of the last six of these. They managed a point at Monaco on the opening day and won at Lyon earlier on in the season too, but since then they’ve lost all four of their trips to top-seven sides whilst scoring just once. As a result, we’re backing PSG to win to nil, with the 2-0 and 3-0 correct scores of interest at 7.0 and 7.5 respectively.
