3rd host 2nd here with both these sides in impressive form as Nice are unbeaten in 11 (they’ve in fact only lost twice all season), while PSG have won their last eight to move level on points with Monaco, though the league leaders do have a game in hand. Nice are six points further back as they now have a commanding hold on 3rd, the final Champions League spot in Ligue 1.
Nice have been vulnerable defensively in recent weeks as they’re without a clean sheet in six, but they’ve been excellent at the Allianz Riviera all season as they remain unbeaten there and have won all eight of their home games against top-half opposition. They thumped Monaco 4-0 early on in the season and have subsequently beaten Lyon 2-0 and 4th placed Bordeaux 2-1 in their penultimate home game.
PSG have won their last eight on the road but they’ve lost four times on their travels already this term, including a 3-1 loss at Monaco and so we’re looking to taking them on at 1.57. They’ve kept just one clean sheet in their last four on their travels, despite the fact that three of those were against bottom-seven sides, and since Nice have scored in all but one of their home games, they should have plenty of joy against PSG’s defence. We’re backing the hosts to maintain their unbeaten home record.
