Napoli v Torino
15:00
With Roma and Juve facing off, this represents an excellent opportunity for Napoli to close the gap to the top two. Maurizio Sarri’s side have won their last two by an aggregate score of 8-0, though they’re currently only 4th, eight points off Juve at the top. Torino, meanwhile, have dropped down to 8th after losing their last two, including a 3-1 defeat to Juve in the Turin derby last time out.
Napoli’s home record is up there with the very best in Europe as they’ve won 21 of their 27 games at the Stadio San Paolo since the start of last season (W21-D5-L1), though they’ve won only two of their last five there after a run of nine straight victories. However, they do have an excellent record against Torino as they’ve won five of their last six meetings with them, including all three at home.
Torino have lost half of their eight road games this term as their only away wins have come against Crotone and Palermo, both of whom are currently in the relegation zone. Torino have in fact lost 14 of their 27 away games since the start of last term, including 11 of their 13 trips to top half sides in that period as they trailed at the break in nine of these, though they have managed to score in the last six. As a result, we’re backing Napoli/Napoli half-time and also Napoli to win and both teams to score as Napoli have kept just three home clean sheets this term.
Recommendations: Napoli/Napoli HT/FT at 2.15 Napoli Win and Both Teams to Score at 2.8
