Manchester Utd v Chelsea
16:00 - 16/4/2017 - Old Trafford, manchester
Chelsea have bounced back from a shock defeat at home against Crystal Palace with back-to-back wins over Man City and Bournemouth last week, wins that saw them maintain their seven-point lead over Tottenham at the top of the table. Their opponents this weekend are Man United, who secured a 3-0 win at Sunderland after back-to-back draws to move back up to fifth place, although they remain only three points clear of Arsenal and Everton.
Despite their slightly disappointing league position, Man Utd have been excellent at home. They’re unbeaten in 25 at Old Trafford across all competition, although nine of their 16 games there in the top flight this season have ended in draws, giving them only the 10th-best home points tally in the league. That said, only Spurs have conceded fewer goals at home than Man Utd, so the Red Devils have a good chance of nullifying Chelsea’s attack, which has scored at least two in each of their last three away games. However, Chelsea have won five of their last seven games against top-six sides while Man Utd have won just one of their last six against such teams, so we’d expect them to have the edge here.
Man United haven’t beaten Chelsea at home since September 2011 and Chelsea have already beaten them twice this season, but with the hosts drawing plenty at home lately we want some cover on the stalemate. We’ll side with Chelsea on the Draw No Bet.
