Leipzig v Bayern Munich
15:00
Bayern have already secured their fifth consecutive Bundesliga title while Leipzig need just a point from their last two games to secure 2nd in what’s been a remarkable season for the promoted side. Bayern won 3-0 at the Allianz when these sides met earlier in the season but Leipzig are entering this game in better form as they’re unbeaten in seven, winning 4-1 at Hertha Berlin last time out. Bayern are also in good nick as they’ve won their last two by an aggregate of 7-0.
Leipzig are W12-D2-L2 at the Red Bull Arena this term, with their defeats somewhat surprisingly coming against bottom-five sides Wolfsburg and Hamburg. They’ve won all six of their home games against top-eight sides, with four of these victories by at least a two goal margin, though Bayern will of course provide them with their toughest test.
However, Bayern’s away performances this season should give them plenty of encouragement. The Bavarians are just W1-D1-L2 when travelling to top-six sides in games that have tended to be tight as three saw fewer than three goals, whilst Bayern failed to keep a clean sheet in any of these. As a result, we’re looking to take Carlo Ancelotti’s men on by siding with Leipzig on the Double Chance.
Recommendation: Leipzig or Draw Double Chance at 1.91
