Lazio continue to be a thrilling side to watch as they played out a fifth game in a row that saw more than three goals, but they were on the wrong end of the result as they went down 3-2 at Fiorentina, though they remain in 4th and are certain of a Europa League spot. Inter, on the other hand, have no chance of European qualification after they slumped to their sixth defeat in seven winless games, this time going down 2-1 at home to Sassuolo to drop down to 8th.
Lazio have won 12 of their 18 home games this term, including four of their last five and they’ve also netted 13 in their last two there. On the other hand, they’ve shipped eight in their last three on their own patch and have kept just two clean sheets in their last 15 there, so they certainly give their opponents a chance.
While they’ve lost their last three on the road, Inter have managed to net in eight of their last 10 on their travels, with one of the exceptions at Juve. Indeed, they put four past Fiorentina in their penultimate away game and yet still got beaten and we expect there to be goals here too, given how Lazio’s home games have gone in recent weeks. Over 3.5 goals and Over 4.5 goals are both of interest at 2.1 and 3.4 respectively but since Inter have lost but scored at the likes of Roma, Atalanta and of course Fiorentina, we’re making the home win and both teams to score our best bet.
