Las Palmas v Sevilla Betting Tips

Betting Tips by The Set Pieces

Las Palmas suffered only their seventh defeat of the season as they were beaten 1-0 at struggling Granada, though they remain in good shape in 11th. Sevilla, meanwhile, have stumbled in the last couple of weeks as they were beaten 3-1 at Espanyol and were held to a goalless draw at home to Villarreal, meaning they’ve dropped down to 3rd, two points behind Barca.

Las Palmas are unbeaten at home this term, despite hosting the likes of Real Madrid and Bilbao, while they’ve won four of their last six at the Estadio Gran Canaria. Real are the only top-six side they’ve hosted to date, but they’ll be relatively confident of maintaining their unbeaten home record against a Sevilla side that remains vulnerable on their travels.

Jorge Sampaoli’s side looked like they might have banished their away daemons as they managed three road wins on the bounce, including at Celta Vigo and Sociedad, but they had to work hard for their 4-3 win at bottom of the league Osasuna and they were beaten 3-1 at Espanyol in their last away game. They’ve already lost at lowly Granada this term and we certainly wouldn’t want to be backing them at 2.25. What’s more, Nasri is suspended and while they’ve won at strugglers Osasuna and Deportivo without him, they could only manage a point at Eibar and suffered that defeat at Granada in their other away games without him. We’re backing Las Palmas Draw No Bet.
