Juventus v Inter Milan
15:00
With both Roma and Napoli dropping points last weekend, Juve are now four points clear at the top of Serie A with a game in hand after they won 0-2 at Sassuolo. Inter, meanwhile, made it seven wins on the bounce as they beat bottom of the league Pescara at home, but they face a very difficult test here in their bid to close the five point gap to Roma in 2nd.
Juve beat Lazio in their last game at the Juventus Stadium to stretch their winning run at home to 27 games and continue their excellent record when hosting fellow top-six sides: they’ve won all 29 of their home games against such opposition since 2011/12, keeping clean sheets in six of the nine of these victories that were since the start of last season.
Inter have managed narrow victories in their last three on the road, but each of those were against sides no higher than 10th. They’ve lost and trailed at the break in their three trips to top-six teams so far, the latest of which was a 3-0 thumping at Napoli, while they picked up only one point from their visits to top-six sides last term. With that in mind, Juve look an excellent bet here at 1.62 and given they’ve led at the break in their last five at home, including against Lazio, Roma and Atalanta, we’re backing them to be ahead at half-time and full-time.
