Juventus have had to cope with a packed schedule in recent weeks and it showed in their last league game as Allegri rotated his side ahead of the Coppa Italia final and the Old Lady went down 3-1 at Roma, meaning they’re winless in three. They need just one victory from their last two to secure the title, though they come up against a Crotone side in impressive form. They remain down in 18th, but they’re now within a point of safety after they made it five wins from seven unbeaten games with their 1-0 win over Udinese.
The draw in the Turin Derby ended a run of 33 straight home wins for Juve and the goal Torino scored was only the third they’ve conceded in their last 10 at the J-Stadium. Indeed, they’ve conceded just once in six visits from bottom-seven sides so far, leading at the break in five of their wins against such opposition and with four by more than two goals.
Crotone have won three of four unbeaten away games, but none of these have been against top-eight sides. They’ve lost all five of their trips to top-six sides so far, failing to score in four of these, including in a 3-0 defeat at Napoli and a 4-0 loss at Roma. As a result, the Old Lady look a solid bet at 1.8 to win to nil but we’re going to take a chance on them covering the -2 handicap, as they’ve tended to do when hosting the lesser sides this term.
