Juventus v Bologna
15:00
Juve have won 14 of their 17 games so far and currently top Serie A by four points from Roma despite having a game in hand. Bologna, conversely are down in 16th and have failed to score in five of their last seven games, the exceptions being in victories over fellow-strugglers Pescara and Palermo. Indeed, Bologna have been a strong ‘unders’ side so far as 10 of their last 13 have seen fewer than three goals, though whether they can prevent Massimiliano Allegri’s side from scoring more than twice remains to be seen.
Juve have remarkably won their last 25 home games, leading at the break in 13 of the last 15 and with clean sheets in 14 of the last 20. They’ve won 17 of their 20 home games against bottom-six opposition since 2013/14, leading at the break in 16 of these victories and also keeping 14 clean sheets. Nine of their wins were also by more than two goals as they’ve proven extremely effective at putting away the lesser sides.
Bologna’s win at bottom of the league Pescara last time out was their first in 15 away games, after they’d managed just seven goals in the 14 prior to that victory. With that in mind, Juve look a fair price to win to nil at 1.8, an option we prefer to the W/W double at 1.65 since Bologna have trailed at the break in only five of their last 22 road games.
