Inter Milan v Napoli
15:00
After an excellent run when Stefano Pioli took over, Inter have struggled in recent weeks, picking up only two points from their last five after they went down 5-4 in a thriller at Fiorentina last time out. Napoli were held to a draw at Sassuolo in their last game but with just one defeat in their last 22 games, they have a solid hold on 3rd place.
The defence has been the main problem for Inter in recent times as they’re without a clean sheet in eight, conceding 18 goals across these. They’ve tended to fade in the second half as they’ve in fact led at the break in three of their last four, but have gone on to lose the second half in each of these. After a run of eight straight wins at the San Siro, they’ve managed just one victory in their last four there and as a result it’s little surprise to see Napoli as favourites for the three points.
Maurizio Sarri’s men have won six of seven unbeaten road games, including against Lazio Roma and Milan, but they’ve kept only two clean sheets in their last 13 on the road and that together with Inter’s defensive struggles at the moment means that we expect there to be goals here. We’re backing Napoli to win and both teams to score, as has been the case in five of their last seven road games.
Napoli Win and Both Teams to Score at 3.6
