Fiorentina v Napoli
15:00
Having lost just three of their first 15 games, Fiorentina have suffered back-to-back defeats as they were beaten at both Genoa at Lazio. As a result, they’ve dropped down to 8th, eight points behind Napoli in 3rd. Maurizio Sarri’s side made it three wins on the bounce as they beat Torino 5-3 at home and they’ve now netted 13 in their last three, having failed to score more than twice in 10 prior to that.
Fiorentina have lost their last three on the road, but they’re unbeaten at home so far and in fact Juve are the only team to beat them in 17 at the Stadio Artemio Franchi. They’ve hosted the likes of Milan, Roma, Inter and Napoli themselves in that time and as such their visitors immediately look too short at 2.05, despite the fact that they’ve been in the goals recently.
Napoli have won four of their eight road games, but each of those victories came against bottom-half sides and they’ve lost both their visits to top-half teams so far, at Atalanta and Juve. Indeed, they’ve managed to win only three of 11 away at top-half opposition since the start of last season and as such we’re backing Fiorentina to pick up at least a point and maintain their unbeaten home record this term.
