Fiorentina v Juventus Betting Tips

Fiorentina twice came from behind to lead Napoli 3-2 at home but the visitors were awarded a late penalty to level things up. As a result, Fiorentina are down to 9th, some 18 points off Juve at the top. The champions eased past Bologna with a 3-0 victory to maintain their four point lead over Roma, while they also have a game in hand.

Fiorentina remain unbeaten at home this term after that stalemate with Napoli, though they have drawn five of nine at the Stadio Artemio Franchi. Nonetheless, they’ve hosted four of the current top-six as Napoli, Atalanta, Milan and Roma have all visited, with the latter beaten 1-0 and the other three all drawing. Indeed, it was a similar story last term as Juve and Roma were the only top-six sides to beat them on their own turf, with narrow one goal victories.

By their standards, Juve have been poor on the road this term as they’ve lost three of their eight games and are without a clean sheet in four away. They have a number of selection concerns as Dani Alves is injured, whilst his backup Lichtsteiner is suspended, and Buffon and Bonucci are both doubts. Since Juve have won just one of their last four trips to Florence, this looks a good opportunity to take them on and so we’re backing the draw at 3.6.

Recommendation: Draw at 3.6
