3pm – 13.08.16 – Goodison Park
The Toffees lost more than they won at Goodison last season under Roberto Martinez and going back a further year they have a woeful W1-D5-L6 home record against top-six opposition. However, they still have a very talented squad, especially with the recent addition of Ashley Willams at the back, so under Koeman we expect them to be much improved.
There will be plenty of attacking quality on show with the likes of Lukaku, Deulofeu and Barkley for Everton and Kane, Alli and Erikson for Spurs. The Lilywhites managed only five clean sheets on the road last season, while 58% of Everton’s matches had at least three goals with 34% having four or more so it’s worth backing goals.
