Bournemouth v Southampton Betting Tips

Southampton are once again favourites to win on the road despite being winless in their last five away games. On Wednesday they travelled to Stoke and couldn’t score against a team with 10-men for 67 minutes. The Saints look as solid as ever at the back – they’ve kept four clean sheets in five – but they are struggling up top as they’ve not scored more than once in eight!

Bournemouth have been hit-or-miss of late going W3-D0-L5 in their last eight but their home for remains strong. They’ve won five of their eight at Dean Court and netted against everyone they’ve hosted bar Spurs – when they set out for a nil nil and got it. In their last two at home they’ve beaten the Champions and Liverpool so they’ll not be daunted by a visit from Claude Puel’s team.

Bournemouth have won to nil in three of their last six hosting middle-third teams and with Southampton’s scoring problems it seems wise to split our stakes over the 1-0 and 2-0 correct scores.
