Bournemouth v Leicester
15:00
A Jamie Vardy hat-trick and a curling shot from Andy King
were enough for Leicester to secure a fantastic win over Man City at the King
Power Stadium at the weekend, and this Tuesday they travel to a Bournemouth
side who stunned Liverpool in their last game at the Vitality Stadium. Both
sides are floating in the middle of the table, but a win for the struggling
champions against a team that has lost only once in its last five at home would
be an excellent result.
Bournemouth are yet to win in four meetings against
Leicester since 2013/14, and will have been disappointed to go two goals down
against Burnley early on at the weekend. That being said, they are coming up
against a Leicester side that has lost four on the trot away against
middle-third sides, and has one draw and six defeats on the road in the league
this season in total. Moreover, they will have been disappointed to concede two
goals for the fifth game in a row across all competitions, but Vardy’s first
hat-trick for the club will inspire confidence as they prepare to play a side
that has conceded in eight of their last 10 home games against middle-third
teams.
Bournemouth should be able to secure the win at home, but
their recent results show that they have some frailties at the back. With that
in mind, we’re going for Bournemouth to Win and Both Teams to Score.
