Bayern Munich v Borussia Dortmund
15:00
Bayern suffered only their second defeat of the season in midweek as they lost 1-0 at Hoffenheim, who are having an excellent season in 3rd, though Bayern nonetheless have a comfy 10 point lead at the top of the Bundesliga. Dortmund, the only other side to beat Bayern this term, made it five wins in seven as they thumped Hamburg 3-0 at home to remain in 4th, though they’re 15 points off their hosts.
Bayern have now won just two of their last four on the road but they remain imperious at the Allianz, where they’ve won 10 of 13 unbeaten games this term. They’ve kept five clean sheets in their last six there, during which time they’ve netted 26 times and so Dortmund face a tough task if they’re to get anything from this one. They lost this fixture 5-1 last season to go with a 2-1 defeat in the season prior to that and since Bayern have already beaten 2nd placed Leipzig 3-0 at home, they look a fair price at 1.6, despite their slipup in midweek.
Dortmund have won just four of their 14 away games this term and they’ve picked up only two points from their four trips to top-six sides so far, though they did manage to score in the last three of these. Indeed, since they’ve managed to score in their last eight league trips to the Allianz we’re backing Bayern to win and both teams to score.
Bayern to Win and Both Teams to Score at 3.1
