Barca kept up the pressure on Real with their 4-1 win at Las Palmas and all they can do is win their remaining game here and hope that Los Blancos slip up. Eibar, meanwhile, continue to struggle for goals as they failed to score for the fifth time in six games, going down 1-0 at home to Gijon, though they remain in 8th and are assured of a top-half finish.
Since their 1-1 draw with Real in the first Clasico of the season, Barca have won all 11 of their home games, leading at the break in 10 of these victories and scoring 46 goals across these matches. Though Eibar are struggling for goals, they’ll take heart from the fact that the Catalans have shut out their opponents in only two of their last eight at the Nou Camp, though whether Eibar can take advantage of that remains to be seen.
Eibar have failed to score in trips to Atletico and Sevilla in recent times but they didn’t concede more than twice in either of these games and they’ve generally proven competitive when travelling to the top teams. They managed a draw at the Bernabeu earlier on in the season, whilst they’ve also won 3-2 at Villarreal, though the dip in their form has to be a concern and is likely due to the fact that they have little left to play for. Since they haven’t conceded more than three times on their travels all season, we’ll take a chance on the 3-0 correct score here.
