Atalanta v Juventus
15:00
Both these sides are in impressive form as Atalanta won 3-2 at home to Bologna last time out, meaning they’ve lost just one of their last 13 and remain in 5th, the final Europa League spot in Serie A. Juve, meanwhile, made it three victories without conceding on the bounce as they eased past Genoa 4-0 at home to maintain their eight point lead at the top.
Atalanta lost two of their opening three home games, but they’ve since gone W10-D2-L1 at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia. They’ve beaten Napoli, Inter and Roma during that run and so they should pose Juve a significant challenge, particularly as they’ve also managed four points from recent trips to Napoli and Roma, showing they certainly have the appetite for the big game.
Juve have been held to draws in two of their last four on the road and are just W1-D1-L3 when travelling to top-eight sides this term, with that sole victory coming at Lazio in their opening road game of the season. They failed to score more than once across any of these games and since Atalanta have kept five clean sheets in their last seven at home, with five of these seeing fewer than three goals, we expect this to be a cagey affair. That’ll certainly bring the draw into play and that’s the outcome we like most at the prices, whilst we wouldn’t put anyone off siding with the hosts on the Double Chance.
