Arsenal v Leicester Betting Tips

Arsenal progressed to their third FA Cup final in four years after defeating Man City in extra time: while their top four hopes may be fading, the ever-impressive Alexis Sanchez put them ahead for good after 101 minutes, and they could emerge from this season with some silverware. This week they take on a Leicester outfit whose Champions League dreams came to an end recently; after four winless games, they will seek to take advantage of Arsenal’s inconsistency.

Despite only two wins in their last six in the league, Arsenal’s home form has been reasonably good. They’ve lost only one of their last 14 at home in the league, scoring at least twice in seven of their last nine there and winning two of their last three at the Emirates to nil. They’ve won seven of their last eight games against bottom-half sides at home, scoring 18 goals in that time, and they’ll be aware that Leicester have lost four of five winless games at top-seven sides and shipped at least three in each defeat. They have scored frequently in trips to these teams (Chelsea were the only ones to keep them out), but it’s hard to see them coming away from the Emirates after winning just one of their last six on the road in the league.

This one should go Arsenal’s way, but we think that Leicester will push for goals as they have at other top-seven sides, and Arsenal’s defence has been far from watertight this season. Arsenal and Both to Score looks like a solid bet.
