AC Milan v Roma
15:00
After a disappointing home defeat against Empoli, Milan had to come from behind to rescue a point at struggling Crotone last time out and so they remain in 6th, five points behind Atalanta who occupy the final Europa League spot. Roma suffered their first defeat in seven as they went down to Lazio in the derby and so they’re now only a point clear of Napoli in 3rd.
Milan had won four straight home games before that defeat against Empoli but they’ve generally been pretty good when hosting the top teams this term. They beat Lazio and Juventus earlier on in the season, though they were edged out 2-1 by Napoli the last time one of the top-four came to visit. As such, we’d be a little wary of backing Roma at 2.1, particularly after the disappointment of their derby defeat.
Roma have won their last five on the road, but four of those were against bottom-six sides and Spalletti’s men are just W3-D0-L5 when travelling to top-half opposition this term and as a result we’re looking to take them on here. Roma have won only once in five trips to Milan since 2011/12 and so we’re siding with the hosts Draw No Bet.
Recommendation: Milan Draw No Bet at 2.3
