AC Milan v Atalanta

After a run of four wins in five unbeaten games, Milan were narrowly beaten 1-0 at Roma and so remain in 3rd, seven points off Juve at the top and three behind Roma. Atalanta have also seen an excellent run ended as they were beaten by Juve after a run of six straight wins and also lost at home to Udinese last time out.
Milan have won six of their eight home games, including against the likes of Juve and Lazio and as such we expect them to return to winning ways here. They’ve won seven of nine unbeaten home games against teams between 4th and 10th since the start of last season, leading at the break in six of these nine victories.
After four clean sheets in five matches, Atalanta have shipped six goals in their last two and though they’ve won four of their eight road games, each of those victories have come against sides currently in the bottom seven, while they were well beaten by Juve in their only trip to a top-six side so far. They lost four of their five trips to the top-five last term, failing to score in three of these defeats and as such we’re backing Milan at evens here, which looks an excellent price.
